Firstly we have a safety issue that we need to address. We are changing the arrowheads allowed for archery to be Flat head only. Rounded head arrows will not be allowed for safety reasons.
Beyond the safety changes it remains a day for Rites changes as we make our way through the Spheres. As a result of these changes we are removing the Amplify call from the game. A lot of todays changes have been bringing more uniquely described effects into line with the effects that are replicating and making it clearer thats how the Rite works.
We’ve added a note to the resource pool restoration effects which specifies how they interact with tents!
You can only cast one of the rites on the tent. This encourages making the choice over which you want and if people want to cast them on IC establishments its allows the potential for competitive choices over where people want to go.
You can however also cast 1 Weaving on a tent in addition to the Rite so there is still scope for multiple effects and you can go beyond the scope of the Rites via the Weaving system.
Amplify
We are removing the Amplify call from the game. To explain some of the design logic that has gone into this process some Rites are the only use of a game call. This was done originally to enable us room to use these calls in future or give space to cut them if we felt it wasn’t adding enough to the game or could be enabled in another way. As Amplify could be created through roleplaying effects there is no need to have it as a specific call.
Earth Rites
Harvest of Restoration has been changed to Restoration and now grants a use of Ive seen worse to bring it in line with our game effects.
Solid Stance has not changed but has been reworded to be clearer
Binding root has changed to Earths Grasp.
Tangling Roots has not changed but has been reworded to be clearer
Natures Rest has been changed to a vigour restoration effect cast upon a tent.
Water Rites
Secrets of the Depths has been brought in line with rules.
Biting frost has not changed but has been reworded to be clearer.
Calming Waters has been changed to a hit points restoration effect cast upon a tent.
Elixir of Life has not changed but has been reworded to be clearer.
Purifying River has not changed but has been reworded to be clearer.
Healing Aura has not changed but has been reworded to be clearer.
Fire Rites
Phoenix Rest has been brought in line with the Regeneration effect that it was replicating.
Emotional Pyre has changed due to the removal of Amplify and instead lets the Weaver grant a target +1 vigour.
Firestorm has not changed but has been reworded to be clearer.
Furious Obsession has not changed but has been reworded to be clearer.
Ashes to Ashes has not changed but has been reworded to be clearer.
Forge Rites
Harmonic Resonance has been changed to allow for detecting invisible people instead of items.
Perfect Reinforcement has not changed but has been reworded to be clearer.
Harmony has been removed and replaced with Makers Flaw. This allows a Forge Weaver to cast crush
Waste not Want not has not changed but has been reworded to be clearer.
The Smiths Fury has not changed but has been reworded to be clearer.
Efficient Focus is now Efficiency. This has gained a reasonably significant buff as you can now double a Focus OR Vigour pool.
