Greetings adventurers!
We hope January has been a great start to 2026 for you all, it’s certainly been busy for us!
Dadford Site Walk
Late last year we visited our new site at Dadford to both meet the land owner and get a firm plan on how we want Menhirs Fate to exist here.
It was extremely useful (even though most of us are Empire veterans) to see the site untouched to plan the layout, to both ensure MF feels unique but also utilise the space effectively so that amenities and distances to important areas are as short as possible.

Following the site walk, we also took this opportunity to have a CHUNKY meeting reviewing the year to date – thoroughly deep-diving into our game mechanics, now that it has been put through its paces by players and crew; Where it worked, where it didn’t and what can be improved.

While we’re overwhelmed by how well the game has been received by players and how successful we were running the game for the first time, we are still listening to your important feedback on where we can do better.
This was a very valuable meeting that went all through the afternoon into the evening – it allowed us to highlight what areas need work and what to prioritise first. We’ve got some exciting plans on how to make Menhirs Fate even better than year one.
From this we’ve had countless meetings in various departments to enact these improvements, and the work is ongoing now!
Rules Changes
It has been made clear from these meetings that some alterations and changes will need to be made, so look forward to announcements in the near future about changes to our core rules.
As this is such a new game, it’s important for us to get the foundation right so that it can continue to evolve and grow for future years to come. Some areas may receive large changes as a result, but we think you’re going to love these changes and we cannot wait to see it take shape at Dadford in May!
Don’t forget, early bird prices are live, so now is a great time to get your tickets!
