Greetings adventurers! Today we bring you a checklist of things to remember before you arrive to ensure you have the smoothest experience.
Pack Your Bags
Our Getting Started Guide has a great checklist of essentials you should bring with you so that you have a comfortable stay at the site. Take a look and make sure you’re prepared for the weather conditions in case it gets cold and rainy or sunny and hot. Prepare for big changes in temperature!
The most important thing to bring is your QR code! You can find this in your Order Confirmation email when you purchased your ticket. We highly recommend having an offline version, or taking a photo, so that you always have access even without internet access. It helps a bunch to have your QR code ready to go before you arrive at Ticket Check.
- You can also present your Order Number, which you can find in your account section “My Orders“
Concession Ticket Evidence
If you have bought a concession ticket, please bring along any document that proves you are receiving government income support, or evidence that you are currently a Student. So long as the document matches the name on the ticket, and is valid for this year – you should be good. This can be in digital form. As a reminder, we do not offer concessions for NHS, Military or the elderly.
Our traffic crew must comply with concession checks and need to verify each concession ticket. If sufficient evidence is not provided – we’ll kindly ask that you pay the difference, plus an admin fee of £15.
Site Rules & Regulations
Please remind yourself of the rules and regulations, there’s lots that isn’t covered below, but as a brief reminder on the key points:
- The site opens to the public on Thursday at 3pm. You can still buy a thursday camping ticket separately if you wish to come a day early.
- Driving anywhere onsite is restricted to 5mph at all times.
- Once you leave the main road you will travel down a track approx 800m before you reach the entrance to our area where you will see our volunteers to check you in. Please follow the one way system onto the IC field if you require drive on access to the IC field or head directly to the parking area if you do not. Live-in vehicles will be directed to the live-in camping area.
- It is important that all cars are off the IC field by 5pm on Friday at the very latest
- Time Out is at 3pm on Sunday, and all customer vehicles must be off site by 7pm
- You may sleep in your van / car but only if you park in the Live-In section. This will allow us to monitor your safety and evacuate you if needed.
- We cannot allow anyone to sleep in their cars or vans in the general car park. If you are found to be sleeping in the general car park you will be asked to move. This is due to fire risk.
- Please leave no waste on site, take home your waste where possible. Anything you cannot take home, collect and deposit the bags at the main skip located at the bottom exit of the IC field between Valdraeth and the Wonder. Do not leave waste bags at your camp.
- There is a separate hot ash bin – please do not put hot ash in the main skip or any other bin, it is a real fire risk.
On the Gate Tickets
You may turn up on the day and purchase a ticket. If you are planning on purchasing a ticket at the gate please remember this incurs the late fee plus admin fee (£110+£15), if you arrive on Thursday that will also cost £10
A Message from the Adventurers Guild
Welcome back to Haven!
The Guildmasters hope your journey here was pleasant.
We are delighted to announce that, due to the hard work of all guild members over the previous year, the Guildmasters and the nations of Elandra have come to an agreement. It has been decided that all those who make the trek to Haven will have their guild membership covered for by their home nation thus making all in attendance Haven branch members of the Adventurers Guild.
Quest sign-ups will now be handled by approaching the desk and requesting a relevant Quest token from the current Chair-Guildmaster. For any questions regarding this system, please ask a Guildmaster for help.
Venture Forth!
