Greetings adventurers!
Let’s continue our celebration of YOU, the people of Elandra! This time Haven casts a light on the Commonwealth.
As mentioned in our last showcase, there’s many amazing projects we could highlight, this is but a small taste of the incredible passion that exudes from the community.
Be sure to share your adventures and passion projects on our official Discord with the rest of the community. We can’t wait to showcase more!
þ(th)rek the Fortitude of Urdrevan

“I was inspired by the Urdrevan aesthetic to bring an authentic sound to our nation.
I’ve always loved music by A Tergo Lupi and Heilung so I wondered about using something traditional like a Tagelharpa.
Having no knowledge of where to buy one, or how to play it, I set about building one instead.
We gathered two beams of reclaimed wood, cut them down to size and ham-fisted the measurements by eye-balling a music video. Now it’s my most favourite possession!”

Juliana Di Martinez of Portavas

The boat we made for armada day took my Dad and I two weeks to construct using the cardboard box our tent came in! We used foam card to make the bow and stern then glued on 300 individual bamboo sticks! We took inspiration from the MF wiki page describing how Armada day is celebrated by Portavas.
Boats! Boats! Boats!

The Kokplatz Peacocks of Hammerstadt

The Kokplatz Peacocks are a losing-streak Breaker Ball team from Hammerstadt whose prospects started to look up after they brought the sport to Haven and kickstarted the first international league.
CJ (@Basten Vleesschilder (CJ)) is the mastermind behind our group look and designed and made everything we wear!
Our sports kit is a lighter, linen version of the typical 17th century woollen doublet so that we could easily run around and play sports in it — CJ paired doublets and trunk hose with a unified, peacock-inspired colour scheme (plus anachronistic sports jersey names/numbers on our backs) to lean into their love of the Hammerstadt historical brief while still conveying the Peacocks’ vibes as a very eccentric sports team.
