In the days following Haven’s time in Kairos the actions of many are felt across the world. From Syradonians talking faith and community to Portavans escaping sea monsters.
Kairos fought the Minotaurs and Valdraeth braved the Hedge.
But people make their way home with plans and projects to attend to in the upcoming months and at first, as Haven begins to fade to the mists from whence it came, people simply keep a weather eye on the horizon for the next emergence. Already it becomes a normal part of life in a world blessed by magic and myth.
As it dwindles from the world those few who have stayed nearby begin to feel a thrum of power not common to Haven’s previous appearances. Questions abound as magical theorists and nearby Kairosi brace for the worst. Surely a build up of magic such as this cannot be a good thing?
This continues as last specks of Haven’s divine energy fade out of existence and are suddenly replaced by an explosion of colour surging into the air, dancing on the wind like ribbons in a rainbow of colours that couldn’t be there naturally. Dark metallics, reds, blue and gold float around until diving into the nearby waters as it becomes clear this is not purely the work of magic but the hand of the Divine using sacrifices people have made and their own power to work a Miracle.
The sea begins to churn around the islands, and for a few days, none brave the waters around Nytheca. Several days later, a gargantuan stone hand rises from the waves and plants itself firmly upon the beach. A second rises soon after and it seems The Planner, Aspect of the Celebrant was correct.
Efforts in Haven this weekend have in some fashion restored the stone guardian, not a kolossi but some creation from the Forge sphere, created in ages past. Pulling itself from the ocean it rises like a living mountain ready to take its place as protector once again.
