Greetings Adventurers! We’re excited to share some info about our last two cults of the Corrupted, who have been working away in the background for the first year of Menhirs Fate,
The Tyrant
“The Tyrant commands, and they obey. The wailing of carnyxs, the noise of fifes and the stomping of innumerable feet announce the coming of the Tyrant’s legions.”
The Tyrant will be one of the possible options for monstering in national monster slots, alongside The Void and The Fallen – we’ll be putting out some additional guidance on how that’s going to work in the coming days. The look and feel has been designed by contributors from our skirmish captains, to make it as easy as possible to show up and fight as one of the Tyrant’s forces, whether in the Levy, the Tyrant’s legions of warriors, archers and mages, or as herbalists and serf fighters, forced into the front ranks as fodder to lower the morale of Elandrans. https://wiki.menhirsfate.com/wiki/The_Tyrant_Monstering
The Terror
“I shall reject received wisdom and all those who hide behind comfortable lies, I will not allow my Truth to be stifled.”
But we also mentioned The Terror, right? The Terror don’t work in the same way as the other Corrupted, so don’t work out in the open very often. As a result, it’ll be a rare occurrence that player monsters play them at least for year 2 of the game. You may now freely create or edit your characters! As we introduced the Rules Expansion this year, all accumulated XP for existing characters has been reset – so please redistribute your XP before MF1!
