Over the weekend, we received THREE LARP Awards(!) having been nominated and voted for by members of the LARP community.
We are now proud award-winners of:
- Large LARP of the Year
- Grassroots LARP of the Year
- New LARP of the Year
We’re extremely proud and humbled by this achievement in just our first year. It just goes to show that what we’ve made is something special – and we can’t wait for our first event this year to show you what we’ve been cooking over the long dark.
In a world where our hobby isn’t yet understood as an industry, having an award to list on public facing media and communications can open doors and conversations and legitimise business interactions you might otherwise struggle with. Any LARP these days has to work with event spaces, or caterers, and the bigger ones potentially with electricians, site workers, security, medical services, etc. Things like this help that process, and help us grow from a hobby to a recognisable industry.
Finally, the nominations are from people who have taken time out of their day to think of you, in whatever capacity you might be being nominated as.
That’s really important to us, so thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to do so.
