Amidst the elevated terraces of Ivory Rise, where wildflowers spill over white stone ledges and the air tastes of starlight and mountain thyme, now stands The Grand University of Elandra — the largest centre of learning ever to rise within the lands of The Wonder.

Constructed from pale stone and polished timber harvested with care from the living groves of Ettermora by the caretakers of the forests, the university’s architecture follows no strict lines. Instead, it bends with the hill’s shape and opens to the sky — a flowing, natural form that embraces both the earth and the heavens. Great arches are carved with scenes of Elandra’s history, while crystal-veined domes reflect the changing sky above. Water channels murmur through open courtyards, and vines drape across lecture halls and walkways.

The university’s mission is clear: to preserve the truth of what was, to study what is, and to shape what may yet be. Scholars here are not simply students of fact, but caretakers of culture, guardians of legacy, and dreamers of futures yet unwritten.

Its many wings are arranged in a great circular form, like petals around a shared heart — the Central Forum, a vast amphitheatre of tiered stone seating and open sky, where speakers from all nations gather to teach, debate, and wonder aloud.

Each academic wing of the university is devoted to a distinct pursuit:

• The Hall of Echoes – Focused on the history, legends, and oral traditions of Elandra. Memorykeepers recite, preserve, and study the truths passed down from age to age.
• The Wing of the Spheres – Dedicated to natural philosophy, mathematics, and celestial patterns. Stone orreries spin above its observatories, mapping the stars and the future alike.
• The Rootward Wing – A vast, half-sunken greenhouse of study for biology, alchemy, herbalism, and the languages of beasts and plants.
• The Archive of Dream and Mind – A place of meditation, magical theory, and introspective study. It is said the walls here whisper back to those who truly listen.
• The Artisan Wing – A clattering, colourful centre of invention, expression, and enchanted craft. Here, the past is shaped anew by hand and spell.

The Grand University is open not only to the people of The Wonder, but to all nations who seek peace through knowledge. Though it may stand still, the university is ever growing — in thought, in soul, and in service to Elandra.
