A new research initiative has been proposed for the shores of Kairos: a purpose-built facility dedicated to unlocking the secrets of superior concrete and tools, using methods discovered during the first great summit in Avereaux. This centre of innovation will focus on refining the composition, forging, and application of next-generation construction materials, with the ultimate goal of reducing infrastructure costs and enhancing long-term durability across Kairos.

The ingredients— Mining Soot from Syradonia, Black Sand from Pyranthos in Kairos, Hammerplatz Bloomed Iron from Hammerstadt, and Slautermoot Bone Ash from Urdrevan—have been confirmed as critical elements. However, the precise balance, temperature thresholds, and weaving reinforcements required to make the superior cement bond and function as self-repairing in water remain to be developed. For the research to begin and progress, these materials must not only be sourced, but transported safely and reliably to the Kairos facility — a challenge requiring both logistical planning and protective measures.

The site will be modest in size but reinforced for secrecy and resilience. This is not simply construction research—it is the promise of a sturdier future, one where the efforts of builders and engineers across the world may last longer and cost less, particularly for infrastructure in Kairos.
