Visionary’s Craftorium
Where Art Is Eternal, and Even the Dead Still Teach

This proposal sets forth the construction of Visionary’s Craftorium, a temple of learning and reverence carved into the stone heart of Reverent’s Respite. Designed as a sanctuary for artists, makers, and dreamers—both living and departed—the structure will centre around a towering stone effigy of The Muse, hewn directly from the cavern wall. This statue will embody the three aspects of The Euphonist, The Vision, and The Philosopher, each depicted in distinct posture and expression, watching over those who enter to create, fail, and rise again.
The architecture will evoke the stillness of a mausoleum, with arched alcoves and veiled rooms wrapped in quiet grandeur. Among them will be the Tomb of Mistakes, a solemn memorial dedicated to crafts and techniques lost to time—arts no longer practiced, but honoured in remembrance. Each tomb will serve not as a grave, but as a reminder: that even failure has form, beauty, and wisdom to impart.
Within the Craftorium, a wide teaching hall will stretch beneath the vaulted stone, its floors etched with patterns that echo the flow of thread, chisel, ink, and inspiration. Etched upon every surface will be inscriptions of encouragement. Adjacent rooms will allow for more focused instruction and private study. A modest sleeping chamber will provide refuge for visiting artisans, while a crypt and dedicated deadroom will accommodate those Morvalean tutors who continue to share their gifts from beyond. Visionary’s Craftorium will stand not just as a place of education, but of restoration—a beacon of creativity where the dead still teach, and no mistake is ever truly lost.
