Horizons Depths
Anchored to the vessel Daughter of the Sea, the submersible known as Horizons Depths is designed to explore and chart the depths of Portavas’ waters, following the discoveries of the Temple of the Abyss. The device is a large spherical chamber, engineered to descend into the crushing darkness, equipped with detachable weights and a massive anchor chain to control its ascent and descent with precision.
The submersible allows a small crew to observe the ocean’s mysterious depths, documenting geological formations, hidden currents, and the rare creatures that dwell far below. Horizons Depths will serve both scientific and strategic purposes, gathering critical knowledge for navigation, trade, and the potential defence against threats emerging from the deep. Its construction emphasises safety, durability, and functionality, ensuring that those who venture below the waves may return with insight and inspiration, rather than peril.
