In Honour of the Traveller, atop the Behemoth of Belief

“Across the grass and under the sky, the great beasts roam”

This Shrine is a towering, swaying temple built atop a massive, long-necked dinosaur known only by the sacred Urdrevan whistle—“ps ps ps ps ps ps ps ps ps ps.” This gentle behemoth, revered for its mournful roar and appetite for forests, roams the world bearing a shrine to the Traveller upon its back. The structure, a patchwork of timber slats and leather sails, tilts gently with every ponderous step—less a pendulum, more a slow and deliberate clack. Inside, leather loops hang from the ceiling for worshippers to grasp during the journey, each loop representing a completed path, a quiet vow, or a prayer in motion. Atop the dinosaur’s head, a delicate platform cradles a trio of crows, tethered by silken thread, their swaying forms acting as omens for those who know how to read the wind.

Along the rear spine of the behemoth, ceremonial spikes made from the bones of The Fallen jut skyward—rattling like dry breath as a sign to those who once walked the path that choosing corruption will lead to death. As the shrine creaks across ridgelines and through misted valleys, the faithful whisper its mantra: “To The Fallen – it will be their bone. To The Faithful – it will come to them.”
