This proposal outlines the establishment of Valdraeth’s Finest Vineyard, a vast and ambitious viticultural estate to be planted in the rich, frost-kissed soil beneath the towering silhouette of Castle Aldhime. Designed not only as a site of cultivation, but as a celebration of Valdraeth’s quiet grandeur, the vineyard will produce wine of unparalleled depth, shaped by bitter winds the dedicated to The Brewer—one of the revered aspects of The Celebrant.

The vineyard itself will be unlike any other in the known world. Its vines, carefully selected from rare and frost-hardy varietals, will be cultivated to grow to extraordinary heights—climbing trellises and stone arches like living green cathedrals. Visitors arriving from the winding paths of The Hedge will feel a strange kinship here, as though the vines are cousins to the creeping forests they know. The result will be a surreal and immersive experience: a vineyard not only grown, but risen, in true Valdraethi fashion.

At its heart will stand a towering shrine to The Brewer. This shrine, half-sacred altar and half fermentation chamber will serve as a place of both prayer and production—where rituals may be performed to bless each harvest, and where the fermentation of the first and final barrels is witnessed by the faithful. Local weavers may inscribe runes of clarity, warmth, and preservation upon the casks, whispering intention into the wine as it matures.

More than a mere vineyard, Valdraeth’s Finest will be a monument to refinement through adversity. A place where shadow nurtures sweetness, where worship is poured by the glass, and where the legacy of Castle Aldhime may be sipped and savoured one solemn vintage at a time.
