MF2 Location Reveal and an Update on Tickets

Greetings adventurers! We’ve got two announcements for you today. The location of Haven, and a change to how tickets will work for MF2.
We want to be upfront with you about why we’re making it.

For MF2, Haven is emerging in Urdrevan!

Expect a full prologue for MF2 closer to the event, but we thought it best to give you an early heads up on the location so you can prepare ahead of time!
If you need inspiration, the wiki has plenty of lore on Urdrevan to get you started.

We’re capping ticket sales for MF2

For MF2, we’ll be introducing a cap on the number of tickets sold.

Our last event was our biggest yet and watching the community grow so rapidly has been extremly exciting, but growth comes with responsibility.
We’re still developing our new site layout at Dadford and we would rather welcome a slightly smaller field and give every single player and crew member a brilliant weekend than push numbers as high as they could go and risk the experience suffering for it.

That hopefully means shorter queues, more attention from refs and crew, more space to play and a site that can comfortably hold everything we want to throw at you. The quality of your weekend matters more to us than the size of the playerbase. Especially as we’re only hosting 3 events this year.

We’re already applying the very valuable feedback from MF1 into the layout for MF2 – in particular our OC Camping and Parking will be expanded.

This is a temporary measure, as the site develops and our capacity grows with it, we fully intend to raise the cap at future events and expand into more fields.

What it does mean for now: once tickets are gone, they’re gone. If you know you’re coming, we’d recommend booking sooner rather than later, and the same goes for letting your group know.

We know a cap might feel like a strange announcement from a new community that’s growing, but we hope the reasoning makes sense!
If you have any questions about tickets, the cap, or anything else, please use our contact form on the website. We’re always happy to talk.

See you in Urdrevan!
