Due to the current weather the grass on site is very dry. As such we are implementing some strict rules around the use of fires at the event that must be followed at all times.
- Fires may only be used for essential cooking only. They cannot be left going and should only be used while cooking is happening or about to happen
- All fires must be attended at all times.
- The ground must be doused with water.
- Hot ashes must be put in the hot ashes bin only. Please check the bin before throwing away any hot ashes.
As the heat is expected to continue we will be monitoring it and the grass and may have to implement a full fire ban for the safety of all event participants
