Supporting Portavas’ Future: Building Stronger Fleets From The Earth
“Rooting strength for the fleets to come.”
This ambitious proposal seeks to transform the island of Trie into a thriving lumberyard dedicated to supporting Portavas’ growing naval ambitions. This initiative involves planting oak, spruce, pine, and birch saplings to cultivate vast forestry resources for future timber harvests. A house of commissioning will be established to oversee the transport of timber from Trie, enabling the construction of stronger fleets and reducing costs for Portavas-related naval projects.
Initial infrastructure upgrades have been fully funded and completed, including a lumber mill to process timber into planks suitable for shipbuilding and expanded port facilities featuring a shipyard and dry dock to facilitate the export of lumber and the launching of newly built ships. These developments already serve to lower future shipbuilding expenses.
However, the clearing and planting of land on Trie—required for forestry expansion and timber farming—remain unpaid, carrying a cost of 80 Legends (8 Legends per acre). Additionally, facilities to house and support the workforce, including leisure amenities and accommodations designed to encourage worker dependents to settle, require further funding to complete.
Captain Clarke’s letter of promise assures the complete removal of any persistent dangers on Trie to secure a safe environment for the forestry operations. She also confirms that magical weavings will be performed on the planted trees to accelerate their growth and enhance their utility, ultimately providing a sustained and affordable timber source for the Portavas Maritime Company and its affiliated naval ventures.
Letter of Promise:
“The PMC are willing to remove any and all dangers from the island of Trie. Ten acres at 8 Legends per acre, totaling 80 Legends before upgrades. Trees will be used to reduce the cost of PMC shipping projects and approved Portavasian projects. Enchanted weavings will be performed to hasten growth and utility.” — Captain Agata Clark
Cost of Construction: 10 Acres @ 8 Legends per acre. Total Cost – 80 Legends.
