“All who fall in Haven are remembered. Not for how they died—but for how they lived.”
Warriors. Scholars. Common folk. Champions. Every soul who gives their life in service to Haven leaves behind more than a body—they leave behind a legacy. To honour those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, we propose the creation of a solemn sanctuary: a memorial carved in stone and reverence, where the names of the fallen will be etched for all time.
At the heart of this memorial will stand a smooth black granite wall, cut from the deep stone of Syradonia, polished until it reflects the flicker of candlelight and the memories of all who approach. Upon its face will be carved the names of Haven’s fallen heroes—line by line, name by name, a quiet chorus of sacrifice.
Beneath the wall, a crystal of pure light will be suspended and angled carefully, casting a gentle glow across the names day and night. A sturdy plinth will stand nearby, holding an engraved tome: the Book of Deeds, wherein the stories of the departed will be recorded—each entry a testament to the impact they made.
Beside this sacred space, a modest stone-floor auditorium will provide seating for fifty mourners. Funerals, vigils, and rites may be held here, giving companions and comrades a place to remember, speak, or sit in silence. At the base of the wall rests a shrine to The Reaper—simple, dignified, and always tended. It offers a table where visitors may leave mementoes, offerings, or candles in remembrance of those now beyond the veil.
